Anna Shepherd is a professional storyteller, creative thinker, and the founder of Meerkat Creative. She views the world through the lens of narrative and connection, believing that stories are essential to making sense of chaos, finding meaning, and preserving identity.

Storytelling runs deep in Anna’s family history. Her grandmother, a journalist 

and filmmaker, instilled in her the understanding that stories are more than entertainment — they serve as powerful tools to connect people and preserve memories. After relocating from Russia to Australia, Anna began creating videos to stay connected with her family overseas. What started as a personal passion soon evolved into a flourishing creative career that shapes how she sees and shares 

the world.

Anna specialises in capturing authentic, unscripted moments — the raw stories that compel audiences to stop, look, and feel. For her, creativity is about clarity and truth rather than just aesthetics. She emphasises the importance of owning one’s story and sharing it with authenticity and intention.
