Born to tell stories
Hi, I’m Anna — a storyteller, creative thinker, and curious human who sees the world through the lens of narrative and connection. I believe stories are how we make sense of chaos, how we find meaning, and how we remember who we are.
Storytelling runs in my blood. My grandmother was a journalist and filmmaker who taught me that stories aren’t just for entertainment — they’re a way to build understanding, to bridge distance, to hold onto what matters.
When I moved from Russia to Australia, I started making little videos to share with my family back home. I never stopped. What began as a way to feel close became a creative practice that still shapes how I see and share the world.
If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s this: we don’t script life’s most exciting stories — we live them. And for as long as I can remember, I’ve been drawn to capturing those moments. Not the polished ones — the real ones. The ones that make you stop, look, and feel something.
Creativity, for me, isn’t about making things look pretty. It’s about clarity. Feeling. Truth. It’s about showing what’s possible when you choose to own your story instead of letting someone else tell it for you.
A lot of people think doing creative work means instant freedom — spoiler alert: it doesn’t. In the beginning, you say yes to things you’re not always in love with. But over time, responsibility becomes freedom. Because when you take ownership, you take back the narrative.
These days, I’m all about finding joy in the process. Creating with heart. Letting curiosity lead. And telling the kind of stories that linger long after the credits roll.
